Linda Bloss-Baum
Senior Director, Artist and Industry Relations at SoundExchange

Linda Bloss-Baum comes to SoundExchange with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment and
technology related industries. She began her career in Washington DC at the Business Software Alliance
while attending Catholic Law School in the evenings. After four years as Counsel for the powerful House
Energy and Commerce Committee on Capitol Hill, Linda represented the music and media industries in
the public policy arena in Washington for a decade.

Linda ran the Warner Music Group Washington DC office for six years. In that role, she began to spend
time in Nashville, TN as a member of the Leadership Music class of 2009. That experience, paired with
her work with artists and creators around the globe, prompted Linda to found LBB Creative Strategies in
March 2013. With offices in DC and Nashville, the mission of LBB Creative Strategies: to increase the
voices of artists and creators in the public policy arena.

Linda is an Adjunct Faculty Professor at the KOGOD School of Business at American University, her
undergraduate alma mater. She teaches a class called, “Protecting the Creative Class in the Digital Age.”
